Product Owner / Technical Project Manager (Industrial Software)

We’re looking for a Senior Technical Product Owner to ensure delivery of CPPC Tiers according to agreed scope, milestones, and business priorities. In this role, you’ll be responsible for turning strategy into executable plans, thus preventing scope creep, enforcing release discipline, and keeping engineering, commercial, and partner expectations aligned.

This role is for someone who is comfortable operating in highly technical environments and making hard trade-offs. You’ll sit at the intersection of engineering, product, and business, ensuring that complex HW/SW development stays focused, predictable, and deliverable.

This role is fully remote.

What You Will Do

• Own and manage the Jira backlog, including epics, stories, priorities, and dependencies

• Enforce feature freeze, release scope, and delivery discipline across teams

• Plan milestones, release cadence, and delivery timelines for CPPC Tiers

• Align R&D execution with commercial commitments and partner expectations

• Facilitate decision-making around scope vs timeline vs risk trade-offs

• Track progress, identify delivery risks early, and drive mitigation actions

• Ensure delivery decisions are clearly documented and communicated

• Champion product clarity. Communicate trade-offs and decisions to tech and non-tech audiences

• Smart and get things done

• 5+ years of Product Owner experience in industrial product management or technical project delivery

• Solid technical foundation - you can engage meaningfully with engineers and architects

• Experience managing complex hardware/software roadmaps and dependencies

• Comfortable enforcing priorities and delivery discipline in high-stakes environments

• Remote work experience

• 4-hour overlap with CET/CEST time zones minimum

• Able to travel to Italy within three months of hire (visa-eligible if required)
