Job description

We’re looking for a Lead Control Engineer – Power Systems to take ownership of the real-time control architecture of our CPPC Tiers platform. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring grid stability, grid-code compliance, and architectural coherence across all control layers for large-scale renewable energy and storage systems.
This is a senior, high-impact role for someone who understands power systems deeply, is comfortable making hard technical trade-offs, and can bridge theory, implementation, and certification realities. Rather than just executing specifications, you’ll shape control strategy, guide technical decisions, and act as a key authority both internally and externally.
This role is fully remote.
What You Will Do
Own and govern the real-time control architecture for RES and BESS plants across the CPPC Tiers platform
Design, implement, and validate real-time active/reactive power, voltage, and frequency (P/Q/V/f) control loops
Lead technical trade-offs between performance, system stability, and certification risk
Support QA and validation activities, including dynamic simulations, HIL testing, and field validation
Act as the technical interface toward TSOs, DSOs, EPCs, and certification bodies during grid-code audits
Ensure architectural consistency and long-term maintainability across multiple control layers and deployments
Mentor engineers and contribute to the evolution of control standards and best practices
Why Join Us
You will join a fast-growing technology company operating in a complex and challenging industrial and energy environment, where software and engineering innovation has a real impact on systems and infrastructure.
We work on highly complex projects that require strong technical expertise, ownership, and close collaboration across multidisciplinary teams (software, control, automation, operations).
Positions are open both to professionals working as contractors and to candidates interested in on-site employee roles, depending on the profile, experience, and project needs.
We welcome applications from local candidates, available to work on-site, as well as from professionals based worldwide, in line with the applicable contractual model.
We offer a dynamic, results-oriented work environment, where people are actively involved in projects and valued for the contribution they bring
