Senior Software Engineer – Renewable Energy Software

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our growing team and tackle high-impact problems in the renewable energy space. Rather than looking for someone tied to a specific framework or domain, we’re seeking an engineer with a strong understanding of software fundamentals, experience building production-grade systems, and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving. You write clean, maintainable code, think in terms of scalability and reliability, and are comfortable making technical decisions.

This role is fully remote.

What You Will Do

• Design, develop, and maintain a world-class renewable energy management system, handling tens of gigawatts of power worldwide

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

• Optimize and scale our backend infrastructure to handle increasing demand

• Ensure the security, performance, and reliability of our applications

• Write high-quality code and contribute to building complete systems (backend and frontend), not just isolated components.

• Work alongside exceptional developers, learning and sharing knowledge every day.

• Smart and gets things done

• 6+ years of hands-on experience, especially .NET focused

• You are a great software engineer and can contribute to creating great software engineering teams

• You consistently deliver high-quality software

• You have experience in system architecture, databases, and are comfortable with both strongly typed and dynamic programming languages.

• You are highly skilled in database management

• You have a strong understanding of modern architectures, databases and queues

• You have a 4-hour overlap with CET time zones

• You’re eligible to obtain a visa and can travel to Italy within three months of hiring
