Job description

We’re looking for an Embedded / Industrial Integration Engineer (OT) to ensure reliable, production-grade integration between our CPPC platform and field devices across utility-scale renewable energy and storage plants. In this role, you’ll minimize commissioning risk and FAT/SAT surprises by making sure devices, communications, and time all behave exactly as expected in the real world.
This role is for someone who is comfortable in control rooms, substations, and plant environments - someone who understands that integration issues are usually found on-site, under time pressure, with real hardware. You’ll sit at the boundary between software, control, and electrical systems, turning specifications into working, testable plant integrations.
This role is fully remote.
What You Will Do
Integrate inverters, PCS, BESS, meters, relays, and RMUs with the CPPC platform
Implement and validate industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, IEC (e.g. 61850 / 60870), OPC, and similar
Map, validate, and maintain physical and logical I/O across field devices and control systems
Configure and maintain time synchronization using NTP and PTP
Analyze communication failures, device behavior, and edge cases under real operating conditions
Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, and on-site troubleshooting activities
Work closely with control, software, and power systems engineers to resolve integration issues efficiently
Why Join Us
You will join a fast-growing technology company operating in a complex and challenging industrial and energy environment, where software and engineering innovation has a real impact on systems and infrastructure.
We work on highly complex projects that require strong technical expertise, ownership, and close collaboration across multidisciplinary teams (software, control, automation, operations).
Positions are open both to professionals working as contractors and to candidates interested in on-site employee roles, depending on the profile, experience, and project needs.
We welcome applications from local candidates, available to work on-site, as well as from professionals based worldwide, in line with the applicable contractual model.
We offer a dynamic, results-oriented work environment, where people are actively involved in projects and valued for the contribution they bring
